At GPC Europe, we always stay up-to-date and closely follow the latest trends, technologies and guidelines, as well as the most recent subsidy schemes.
EuPD Research has rewarded GPC Europe with the Top PV Supplier award for the second year in a row. "A great feeling that our efforts are recognized", CEO Yves Struyve sounds happy.
Antarctica is one of the windiest, coldest, and driest places on the planet. So the use of high-quality materials is an absolute must! The Princess Elisabeth Antarctica therefore chose PullThePlug and GPC Europe as partners in providing a customised PV solution.
Now that the reverse counter for solar panel users has been scrapped by a decision of the Constitutional Court, some half a million Flemish families are left out in the cold – almost literally. In order to compensate for the loss of this favourable construction, GPC Europe presents interesting solutions that boost consumers’ own consumption.
Consumers must use as much of their own PV output as possible in order to send as little as possible to the grid. The main reason for this is that the injection price is extremely low compared to the electricity price. The solution is fairly simple: we can easily increase our self-consumption by up to 30% with a home battery. But did you know that there is another solution with a better efficiency than the home battery?
Small PV installations up to 10 kVA inverter power will be covered by a new premium regulation from 2021 to replace the ‘backwards-counting meter’ principle. This principle is being fully scrapped for these smaller installations and replaced by a one-off premium that needs to be applied for. To qualify for this premium, the installer must have RESCert certification for installing a PV application.
From 2021, you will be able to apply for a PV installation premium to replace the ‘backwards-counting meter’ principle. But the complexity of the legislation raises many questions. PV-Vlaanderen provides a number of answers below.
SOLUXTEC photovoltaic modules from Germany are of the very highest quality. The company has stood for innovation and progress for over ten years. Their state-of-the-art production process and extensive R&D ensure they are a high-quality reference in the sector.
GPC Europe launched the GPConnect at the end of August. This smart battery simulator tells solar panel users exactly how much energy they are taking from the grid and putting back at any given moment, and how much of it they can retain if they install a certain battery capacity.
